The theme of our Summer School for this year is “Science & Art”!
Our awesome young scientists and artists huddled up with big grins and tons of enthusiasm to dive into their tasks. And now, we’re excited to give you the scoop on what went down during each of the fantastic 13 days of our Summer School!

＜DAY 1＞ 7/24
DAY 1の今日は
リーフペインティング🍀
初めましてのみんなも自己紹介と名前ゲームですっかり打ち解ける👍
そして
公園へ向かい
雑草などを拾ってきたみんな🌿
戻るともうランチタイム！
そしてランチ後はフリータイム！
Go fishやspeed cup, 読書で思い思いにすごすみんな🌻
午後からは
自分で拾ってきた葉っぱを取り出して好きな色を塗り
ペタペタ貼って好きなパターンを作っていきます！
アートする時、全然迷いがないよね！😂
あっという間に帰る時間で
クリーンアップしてスナックタイム🥨

＜DAY 2＞ 7/25
Day 2の小さなサイエンティスト／アーティストたち！
Tie-dye artをテーマに
好きなデザインと色を考え
オリジナルTシャツを作りました👏
ランチの後のフリータイムでは、たくさんのゲーム😄
そう、ランチもランチ後も、ここでは全部英語です！
全部わからなくても良い✨
環境に「浸ること」が大事！
担当はアイルランド出身Jerry先生でした☘️
Tie-Dyeは、しっかり染めるのに一日かかります
明日洗って、どんな作品になっているか✨お楽しみに！

＜DAY 3＞ 7/26
DAY 3は
Wind chime making!をテーマに
風のしくみを学んで🌬️
好きなパーツを組み合わせて
wind chimeを作りました🎶
朝、公園に行き
それぞれに拾ってきた
小枝を使って
難易度の高いクラフトにもめげずに
やり遂げたアーティストたち👏
心折れそうになりながらも、達成感があったんじゃないかな✨
＜Day 4＞ 7/27
DAY 4は
The art of light and shadowをテーマに
日光と影について学んで
好きな恐竜などのオブジェクトを
選んで影をなぞり
自分だけのshadow artを制作☀️
そして最後に個人発表✨
Today’s activities were centered around the phenomena of light and shadows.
Students not only learned the scientific explanations behind these concepts but also put their knowledge to practice creatively, manipulating light sources and causing varying artistic effects while making prehistoric-themed shadow art👏
光と影の関係、それを絵で表して、発表できたこと✨
